Steel-type Pokémon tend to have high defense stats and can hit opponents for super effective damage with their physical attacks, but they have a few key vulnerabilities that trainers can exploit. They are especially weak to Fire-type, Fighting-type, and Ground-type attacks, which can do a lot of damage to them. In Pokémon games that include the Fairy type, Steel-type Pokémon are also weak to Fairy-type attacks.
